Drone Courses
After 1,000s of successful drone training flights and six years of running drone courses, we have developed face to face and online drone courses to train you to fly a drone safely, have great fun, while getting the best from the camera on every type of DJI drone.
We offer two drone flying experiences face to face at five locations (every month at the weekends) or online step by step video tuition:

- Fly with a small group of like-minded drone enthusiasts. Our maximum group size is four per instructor, with max of two people per drone.
- Fly in stunning locations that you might not find, or feel confident enough to fly in, on your own.
- Train and fly with one of our highly trained professional drone pilots.
- Enjoy expert group tuition in every aspect of drone flying and filming during the course.

Essential Bits
Participant guidelines:
- Minimum age: 14 (under 18's must be accompanied by a paying adult)
- Please note that this active day may involve walking up hill to the training ground (Devon only)
- The experience, content, DJI drone equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
- Please arrive on time and dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day
- We cannot fly our drones in in very strong winds or rain
- We cannot guarantee the British weather and no refunds are available in the event we are grounded for part of the half day or one day course
- In the event we are grounded for a part of a course, then we will switch to indoor flying where possible
- Drone School UK do not provide refreshments on the half-day course.
Cancellation
By Us
- We watch the 5-day weather forecast and make a decision as soon as possible if bad weather is predicted. We do not fly drones in rain or high or gusting winds.
- Courses can be subject to cancellation at short notice if weather conditions are not suitable.
- A refund can only be issued if the course cannot be rescheduled,
- A refund can only be issued if the course was booked and paid for directly with Drone School UK.
- The refund is for the cost of the course only. We are not responsible for any travel arrangements or other costs that you may have incurred.
By You
- Over 7 days notice – Option to reschedule your course date or request refund of total paid.
- 7 days to 48 hours notice – You can reschedule the course date only. No refund unless your place on the course is re-sold.
- Less than 48 hours notice – No option to reschedule or refund unless your place is re-sold.
- A refund can only be issued if the course was booked and paid for directly with Drone School UK.
Our vouchers
We offer Drone School UK gift vouchers for all courses. Each voucher is valid for one year from the date of purchase and can be sent direct to a person of your choice in a gift pack.
